Dr Sodhi’s Health Care Multispecialty Hospital & IVF Centre has been running since 2007, employing the latest ‘State of the Art’ technologies for the treatment of infertile couples. The ultra-modern hospital is located in Mohali, a highly progressive township, adjoining Chandigarh. While the hospital is well equipped to take care of all kinds of patients, the hospital is especially well known for its excellent treatment services for women with high-risk pregnancy & infertility, providing IVF services with phenomenal success rates. Dr Sodhi’s Health Care Multispecialty Hospital & IVF Centre is the first infertility centre in the region, operational since 2007. The centre has an excellent track record of success in IVF treatment and has brought more than 1000 IVF babies into the world. The IVF lab has been recently upgraded & modernized to meet international standards. An adequate number of incubators are installed for best results (one incubator for every four patients).
The IVF Department has a complete team of qualified & experienced doctors, embryologists & support staff to take care of all kinds of fertility-related problems. The IVF team under the leadership of Dr Lavleen Kaur Sodhi is very well coordinated & the results speak for themselves. We have a series of patients who have conceived with treatment at our centre after suffering dejection at other centres.
In addition, the centre is known for excellent obstetric care, especially for high-risk pregnancies. We encourage and help our patients to have vaginal deliveries wherever safely possible for the mother and the baby. Thorough counselling before labour and support during labour & delivery has helped us to achieve a vaginal delivery rate higher than most nursing homes.
The Obstetrics facility is complemented by a team of experienced paediatricians who are available in the OPD for regular follow up & vaccination of the baby, as well as on-call for emergencies 24x7. Every delivery is attended by a paediatrician.
There is a Level II NICU & facility for phototherapy if the newborn develops jaundice. For complicated / extremely premature babies requiring ventilation, we have a tie-up with advanced neonatology centres.
Routine and advanced gynaecological surgeries by laparoscopy or open routes are performed in this centre with an excellent outcome.
